Privacy Policy

Overview

Wander Wagon is a local, offline-first road trip game app. We built it to be played in the car — no internet required for games and no account required. This policy explains the limited information the app handles, including optional subscriptions, and how.

Information we collect

We do not ask for or store personal information directly. Specifically:

• No name, email address, phone number, or account of any kind is required or stored by us.
• No location data is collected or transmitted.
• No analytics, crash reporters, or advertising SDKs are included in the app.
• Game progress, player names, and multiplayer messages are not sent to our servers.

Data stored on your device

The app saves a small amount of data locally on your device only:

• Player names — the display names you type in for game setup. These are stored in the app's local preferences so you don't have to retype them each session.
• Game settings & scores — in-progress and completed game state within the current session.

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its local data in your device settings.

Subscriptions

If you choose to buy or restore a subscription, Apple processes the purchase and RevenueCat provides the subscription service used to confirm your access. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user ID, device information, and purchase status for that purpose. We do not use that information to identify you or sell it. Multiplayer (Play Together)

When you use the multiplayer feature, the app communicates directly between devices on your local network using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a local connection over a shared hotspot. No multiplayer data is routed through our servers.

The only information exchanged between devices is:

• The display name you enter for the lobby session.
• Game messages (scores, votes, game state) needed to keep all devices in sync.

This data is ephemeral — it is not stored after the session ends and is never transmitted to us.

App Store data

Apple may collect information when you download or use Wander Wagon through the App Store, according to Apple's privacy policies. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment details.

Children's privacy

Wander Wagon is designed for families and does not ask children to create an account or submit personal information. Parents or guardians should manage any App Store purchases.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Because we collect no personal data, material changes are unlikely.
