Short version: we don't collect your data. Your games stay on your device.
Wander Wagon is a local, offline-first road trip game app. We built it to be played in the car — no internet required, no account required, no data leaving your device. This policy explains what little information the app handles and how.
We do not collect personal information. Specifically:
The app saves a small amount of data locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its local data in your device settings.
When you use the multiplayer feature, the app communicates directly between devices on your local network using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct (via Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework on iOS and Google's Nearby Connections API on Android) or a local TCP connection over a shared Wi-Fi hotspot. No data is routed through our servers or any third-party server.
The only information exchanged between devices is:
This data is ephemeral — it is not stored after the session ends and is never transmitted to us.
When you download or use Wander Wagon through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Apple or Google may collect certain usage and diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive or have access to this data.
Wander Wagon is designed for families and is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from users of any age, no special handling of children's data is required. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Because we collect no personal data, material changes are unlikely.
